Introduction

1100 aluminum circle is a round disc made from 1100 aluminum sheet — the purest aluminum alloy in commercial use, with a minimum aluminum content of 99.0%. It is also called aluminum disc or aluminum circle blank.

Because 1100 contains no major alloying additions, it is the softest and most formable aluminum alloy available. It deep-draws and spins without cracking. It conducts heat evenly. It passes food-contact safety requirements in all major markets. These properties make it the global standard material for cookware blanks, lighting reflectors, road signs, and dozens of other stamped or spun aluminum products.

The small copper addition (0.05–0.20%) provides a slight strength increase without reducing formability or corrosion resistance. Iron and silicon are strictly controlled as impurities to keep the alloy pure.

For cookware and deep-drawn products, the O (annealed) temper is the standard specification. For aluminum circle signs and decorative parts, H14 or H16 is preferred.

The largest application worldwide. 1100 aluminum circle is the standard blank for frying pans, woks, pressure cooker bodies, pots, rice cooker bowls, and tiffin boxes. Aluminum Circle Signs
