Coated aluminum coil refers to a product with color spraying effect on the surface of aluminum coil. It can also be called color coated aluminum coil or color aluminum coil. The purpose of coating treatment is first to have a beautiful effect in the fields of construction, decoration, home, etc.; second, because the coating process and coating thickness are directly related to the product quality and service life of the coated aluminum coil.

The coating process is a more critical step in the production of colored aluminum coils, which directly affects the final coating quality and product durability. Therefore, the coating process is very strict. With the continuous improvement of coating equipment and the development and utilization of new coatings, the production of coated aluminum coils has become more mature, and processing costs have also decreased. As a result, coated aluminum coils have achieved rapid development. So what is the specific process of coated aluminum coil?

Generally, the production process of coil coating has 5 steps, namely, coil input, cleaning and chemical treatment, painting, curing and finished product output. The process layout and equipment composition of different situations are different, but the basic parts are the same.

  1. The raw material coil input is the continuous uncoiling of the decoiler to ensure the continuous and stable input of the coil to the production line. Some adopt a cross-rotating beam-type coil carrier, and some adopt alternate decoilers set up front and back. In short, it is for timely supply of coils;

  2. Surface cleaning and chemical treatment are to make the upper and lower surfaces of the aluminum coil clean and perform chemical pretreatment to ensure that the paint can adhere firmly;

  3.  It is painting. There are at least two roller coaters in one production line to ensure two-layer painting of topcoat and primer;

  4. It is the curing of the paint layer, which means that the newly painted strip must be fixed before it touches the next roller surface to avoid mutual adhesion and damage. Generally speaking, it contains at least two curing boxes;

  5. It is the output of finished products to ensure that the speed of the production line is synchronized with the transfer of finished products.
